Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of more than hundred naturally occurring cannabinoid found in hemp
but not exclusive to it. Did you know that cannabinoids are also be found in other plants such as
coneflower, electric daisy, black pepper, black truffles, kava etc.
CBD is non-intoxicating and won’t make you high unlike its cousin THC. CBD derived from hemp
either has 0% or <0.3% THC in it.
Full spectrum CBD has all the naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids from the cannabis plant with <0.3% THC.
Broad-spectrum CBD has all the naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids from the cannabis plant with 0.0% THC, which is entirely removed using additional extraction processes.
CBD Isolate contains nothing but pure CBD. There are no other cannabinoids, terpenes, or flavonoids present.
CBD oil is extracted from flower, leaves and stalks of the plant whereas hemp seed oil is extracted from hemp seeds. Although hemp seed oil is rich in other nutrients, but it does not contain CBD.
Also called a synergistic effect is a phenomenon when multiple compounds such as cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, mineral from the whole cannabis plant (full spectrum or broad spectrum) in the cannabis plant, produce a stronger effect than an individual component by itself. Nature’s Therapeia believes in whole plant goodness, therefore our products are either made from broad spectrum or full spectrum CBD and never from an isolate.
According to 2018 Farm Bill, it is federally legal to extract CBD from industrially grown hemp. At Nature’s Therapeia all our products are manufacture from CBD extracted from hemp, so rest assured.
Both hemp and Marijuana are species of cannabis plant but compositionally quite different. Hemp contains large amount of CBD and <0.3% of THC by definition whereas marijuana contains 5-20% of THC on average and only small amount of CBD. Since hemp contains exceedingly small amount of THC its ideal for making CBD products without euphoric effect (getting high!)
CBD is non-intoxicating and does not create a “high” or state of euphoria.
We love CBD because there is no one right way to take CBD. CBD can be administered in many
ways depending on what you are comfortable with.
Oral - tinctures, capsules, gel, beverages, gummies
Topical – lotions, balms, serums, creams, oils
Transdermal - patches
Vapes - pens

The short answer is “NO” if you use CBD products containing <0.3% THC. Therefore, it is
particularly important to purchase CBD products from reliable source that invest in third party
testing of their products. At Natures Therapeia, products are tested extensively to make sure
that THC is <0.3% for full spectrum CBD or 0% for Broad spectrum CBD.
Everybody processes CBD differently. Before introducing CBD into your lifestyle, we recommend
you talk to your health care professional. CBD is not intended for individuals who are pregnant,
nursing, taking medication or have a condition.
